Preventing Workplace Harassment

Duration: 3 hours

The law recognises that preventing workplace harassment is crucial to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all. Every individual within an organisation, regardless of their level of seniority, has a responsibility to refrain from engaging in inappropriate behaviour.  The creation and maintenance of such a culture ensures that everyone can feel valued and protected.

From October 2024, every UK employer will be subject to a duty to take 'reasonable steps' to prevent sexual harassment of their employees in the course of their employment. What steps has your organisation taken to prevent sexual harassment taking place?

Ensuring your workforce has received comprehensive, up-to-date training in this area will be critical in demonstrating compliance with the statutory duty.

Our engaging and interactive scenario based workshop draws on 'real world' experiences of harassment to equip all members of your organisation with the necessary skills to identify, prevent, and respond to harassment ensuring that your workplace culture is one of respect, diversity and inclusivity.

Workshops can be tailored to reflect/incorporate an organisation's own HR policies, if required.
